Parent information meetings are designed to give an overview of ACS, our educational philosophy, and the admissions process, along with a tour of the campus. These meetings are a required step in the admissions process and are the best introduction to ACS. We believe there is great value in parents seeing ACS in action so we have scheduled these information meetings during school hours.
Austin Classical School (ACS) will offer Kindergarten – 7th grades for the 2018-2019 school year, along with a pre-Kindergarten (4-year-old) class.
The meetings begin promptly at 8:45am by observing ACS students in our short chapel service. At the conclusion of chapel, parents will hear from our Head of School, Dusty Kinslow, and from ACS staff and board members, followed by a tour of our classrooms and facilities. A brief question and answer session will conclude the parent information meetings.
Curriculum selections and sample lesson plans will be displayed by grade, and current ACS parents will also be available after the meetings to answer any questions you may have about their experience within this model and with ACS.
Our next parent information meeting for the 2019-2020 school year is scheduled for Monday, March 4, 2019.
